Disease incidence of freshwater fish in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia

The potential of freshwater farming in the Special Region Yogyakarta is very high. Infectious and non-infectious diseases can cause significant economic losses. main problem infectious disease caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi parasites. This study was conducted to identify that attack fish using data analysis on cases Laboratory Pathology, Faculty Veterinary Medicine, UGM 2019. A total 239 were examined Diagnostic Co-assistance students 2019 from which includes Sleman district, Kulonprogo City, Bantul district Gunungkidul district. Based analysis, it showed highest sample tilapia (52%), came Regency (94%). infection bacterial infections (54%) followed parasite (35%). Macroscopic changes observed liver (25%), skin (19%). gills (26%). These included a yellow swollen liver, ulcer skin, fragile consistency nodules surface kidneys, attachment lamella necrosis gill lamellas. identification resulted following taxa/species Dactylogyrus., Trichodina sp ., Gyrodactylus . Ichtyopthirius Parasitology histopathological identified Hematoxillin & Eosin st aining technique, organs dermatitis (18%), hepatitis (27%) branchitis (23%). It be concluded this research
